Our recent project
We raise Bantam Cochin Chickens for a hobby. Right now, we have 6 hens and 1 rooster.
They needed new living quarters, so we thought it would be nice to build them a small house.
Using scrap lumber and tin, we put together a 4' X 8' X 7' tall house.
We added 2 nesting boxes to the sides, and a window on one end. The house itself is 4'X30". The rest, is a screened in yard.
We wanted to add a special touch, so we added pictures and curtains. The house is adorable and the chickens seem to love it.
We worked on it on our spare time and it took us about a week to finish.
We still have to trim it out, so we'll be adding more pictures soon.
